Teach Me How Studio was established in January of 2012 offering private piano lessons to a few children in the Greensboro community. Teach Me How Studio is a developing after school music academy which serves interested students starting at age 5. Our staff is made up of talented local musicians and musical artist. Teach Me How Studio has over 20 students enrolled in our private and group piano classes. Teach Me How Studio classes are open for enrollment year-round.

Robert Jarrell, the owner and operator of Teach Me How Studio, is a graduate of N.C. Agricultural & Technical State University with a Degree in Music General. He is a member of the North Carolina Music Educators Association and the National Education Association. Robert has held several music positions in the Greensboro community. Robert is employed by Guilford County School and currently the choral music director at James B. Dudley High School and the Music Director at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Throughout his career he has taught at various schools in the community such as Fairview Elementary School, Peck Elementary School and Northeast High School. Robert is also the director of the Greensboro chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA). Robert’s Mission is to give every musically interested child the opportunity and a safe place to develop their musical skill.

Teach Me How Studio host a winter and spring recital for all students to participate in front of an audience of family and friends.
